The Magic Begins

Where it all began

It began with the search for a new game and the familiar app store shuffle.

Scroll. Tap. Nope. Scroll again. Tap again. Still nope. The problem was not a lack of games. It was a lack of a very specific kind of game. Something fast that demanded focus, with that classic arcade tension and retro feel where hands get busy and brains get quiet. The kind of shooter that used to live in arcades, like Centipede, Galaga, and Space Invaders. Those pixel ships and starry swarms. And also something that did not come with blood, violence, or a chat full of strangers.

That wish list sounds simple until it is not. A shooter without the usual shooter mood is basically a contradiction on most game shelves. So the project picked a side and made a rule that everything had to follow. Keep the rush, lose the harm. Once that rule existed, the rest of the choices lined up behind it. The action stayed quick and demanding, but the tone turned bright. Instead of weapons meant to hurt, the game leaned on bubbles and a playful world. No chat. No ugliness. Just a safe place to lock in, dodge, and keep going.

That is the origin story. Not a dramatic lightning bolt moment. Just one clear decision made early and kept all the way through. A fast, retro style arcade game that stays kind, a shooter that still asks for focus and persistence but never asks anyone to get comfortable with cruelty.
